The live shows are back up.

"Say Hi To Your Mom simultaneously defies and enforces physics. We're the mumbling in your head while you're crunching the numbers. We're the apparitions, ticks, gut wrenching, suspicion and glee too. We're the reason you rolled a nineteen for charisma, the cat's meow, your least favorite aunt. Touch us and we'll touch you. Watch us and we'll watch you..." - Say Hi To Your Mom site then full Bio.

We should all be regulars over at Playing in Fog as they post some intriguing sounds from unsigned bands - as well as signed ones - on a somewhat regular basis. A few that I stumbled across were Foxtail Somersault, Scrabbel, and Minipop:

Foxtail Somersault - All The Girls
Foxtail Somersault - Tonight
Scrabbel - Save The Green Planet(clip)
Scrabbel - All The Things(clip)
Minipop - Fingerprints
Minipop - Butterflies

Liz Phair has some acoustic tour dates on the horizon and the secret ingredient behind Mr. Brocks Ugly Casanova side project from a few years back - Holopaw's John Orth - are releasing an album somewhere abouts early June titled "Quit+/or Fight" and while we're in the subpop shop, the Fruit Bats have a release lined up for July 26th.

Some new KCRW Morning Becomes Eclectic sets for your viewing pleasure - Spoon, Beck, Andrew Bird, The Soundtrack of our Lives, The Decemberists, Mike Doughty

And a track courtesy of Said The Gramaphone, a spectacular site.
